Sadly all good things must come to an end and so we get up and travel the short distance down from Nimbin to the coast and Byron Bay.
Byron Bay is a popular holiday destination and the beach is full of golden bodies. The sea is full of people lying on surf boards waiting on the magical wave that for most never seems to arrive.
Still walking the beach with a surfboard under your arm is the de rigeur fashion accessory for being seen by chics.
I’m thinking of buying one.
Maggie says I can use her old ironing board as that will save money and be as much use to me.
This guy is the coolest dude we have seen there. He may be only two foot long but he has
ATTITUDE
The town has retained it’s character and is full of holiday makers.
It has the feel similar to a Canary Island resort. Lots of youthful energy and not a care in the world view of life.
We like it but a couple of days are enough to soak in what it has to offer.
