After some bacon and eggs we drive out to Watego Beach the most Easterly point in Australia.
So we have done the most Southely point and now the most Easterly.
We did our best to do the most Northerly but sadly we didn’t have a 4×4 so couldn’t reach it.
Watego is a bit more chilled than Pose Central on Clarke beach and is surrounded by upmarket beach villas but beyond that nothing interesting.
So back in the van and to Clarke beach for more sun and sea.
I probably win the prize for the whitest body and I’m sure that alone makes me super desirable. Anyway I just know all those super bronzed bodies are jealous.
Maggie sits up and we are not going to move ever as we got such a perfect parking spot just next to the entrance to the beach.
One other point about this beach is that it is welcoming to dogs. They aren’t allowed on the promenade but are welcome to be walked on the beach.Very sensible.
Generally Australia is unwelcoming for dogs, indeed pets of any kind generally are not welcome in campsites or in any of the National Parks.
I think it relates to the protection of the local Fauna but it seems the exact opposite of mainland Europe.
After the beach we visit the local evening market which is good and focuses on Alternative Lifestyle.
Massage, healing oils, bees wax reusable paper, crystals etc. You get the drift.
Maggie sits under the tree of eternal youth. As long as she never moves from under it she will always stay young and beautiful.
Well
Well
I certainly wouldn’t argue.
